Sunday with Dave: Addiction Material

“Addiction Material”

I am a creatured habit,
worn by the visible
so as to conceal its history,
I pyro my validation,
vindication,
I will stop next,
now, when, the ever
I dread the third incarceration,
give not me,
the inability,
sit, filch time,
a stalemated exploitation,
but who the one I am before,
the one disused to build a third part profit,
no I am not expense, unneeded I needily,
but they will still have me,
the issue that I escape into another’s materialization,
being pared down,
or find in myself the bind
to break for, amiss.
